I experienced a unique approach to the practice of hypnotherapy and thought it should be noted by those who can benefit from it. To What I am referring to is an unusual (I think) USP for the field of hypnotherapy and coaching. I participated in what Terry Brussel calls a Life Guidance Discovery session and found it to be a very interesting and positive methodology. Basically I had to really think about my attitudes and goals toward all parts of my life and order them as to importance and priority. I never did this before at this level of detail. This LGD process is designed to be used primarily by hypnotherapists of which Dr. Brussel is one, but, as a professional life coach I can see the value elsewhere. The process took a significant amount of time and we went into quite a bit of detail. I received, of course, a complete recording of all this including our interactive hypnosis session as originally promised. I also chose to have Terry Brussel create a self-hypnosis CD based upon this LGD work that I really liked. It is a hypnotic abundance recording done in a sound studio which includes all my individual goals point that we discussed in the live, interactive session. Now I can play it anytime I want to do a self-hypnosis session (usually in the evening as I go to sleep. before bed- The soothing music she includes really helps). Obviously a lot of time and effort goes into doing one of these programs but I think it is worth it. If you are a hypnotherapist ( and/or a coach as well) I suspect having this available as an offering for your clients would give you a unique selling proposition (USP) which would give you an edge in the market place. I did notice a previous , not so complimentary review stated that she gives free referrals to her professional clients We had talked at the time I booked this session about referrals for my practice—she was pretty clear with me that only if I bought her whole professional system would I get those 10 client leads and referrals a week with the coaching system or 25 a week with the Hypnotist’s system.
